MOUNTAIN SUN - BEER - BEER LIST - WHEAT ALES

The following ales include a significant portion of malted wheat.

JAH MON GINGER
This is an American Wheat beer that features lemongrass and a generous amount of fresh, crushed ginger. The ginger and lemongrass are added at the end of the boil to impart solid flavor notes without adding bitterness.
OG: 1.050    ABV: 5.5%

ARCTIC WHEAT ALE
At least once a year, we brew this minty refresher for our annual 4th of July party. It usually sticks around through August before going back into hiding. Again, we use lemongrass, this time with fresh mint added at the end of the boil to create a slight crispness without turning the beer to mouthwash. This is the lowest abv beer that we make. Arctic Wheat Ale won a Gold Medal at the 1995 Great American Beer Festival
OG: 1.039    ABV: 4.0%

BAVARIAN HEFEWEIZEN
This is a traditional South German Hefeweizen. Brewed with a combination of European and American Malts, this refreshing ale is bursting with flavor. The prominent notes of banana and clove are characteristic of the unique yeast strain. There are no spices in this beer.
OG: 1.048    ABV: 4.8%

WEIZENBOCK
The Weizenbock is a stronger, darker version of our Bavarian Hefeweizen. In addition to malted wheat, this beer is brewed with a large percentage of German Munich malt. The robust malt character is balanced by the fruit and spice flavors provided by the yeast.
OG: 1.072    ABV: 7.3%

ST AMOS BELGIAN WIT
This is an American Wheat beer that features lemongrass and a generous amount of fresh, crushed ginger. The ginger and lemongrass are added at the end of the boil to impart solid flavor notes without adding bitterness.
OG: 1.050    ABV: 5.2%

WHITE FAWN AMERICAN WHEAT
Our American-Style Wheat is straw in color and low in alcohol with the soft texture and crisp flavors of wheat. Hop flavors of grass, citrus and herbs are assertive, but the bitterness is soft and subdued making this ale very approachable.
OG: 1.048    ABV: 4.8%
